Awam: The Prayer for the Flourishing of the Teachings, Named “The Wish-fulfilling Jewel of the Pristine Realm of Samantabhadra”

ཨེ་ཝྃ་ཧོ༔

Awam Ho!

ཨེ་ཡིག་སྟོང་ཆེན་སྤྲོས་བྲལ་ནམ་མཁའི་མཛོད༔

“A” syllable, vast and empty, the treasury of the sky, free from elaboration.

ཝྃ་ཡིག་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཆུ་ཟླའི་གར༔

“Wam” syllable, the various magical manifestations, like the dance of the moon reflected in water.

མཐའ་ཡས་འགྲོ་ལ་ཕན་བདེ་སྟེར་མཛད་པའི༔

To infinite beings, bestowing benefit and happiness,

ཟབ་གསང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་རྒྱས་གྱུར་ཅིག༔

May the profound and secret Dharma teachings flourish.

ཅེས་པ་འདིའང་རབ་གནས་ཤིང་འབྲུག་སྨིན་ཟླའི་ཉ་ལ་༸སྐྱབས་རྗེ་མཁན་ཆེན་བླ་མ་ཨེ་མ་ཧོའི་བཞེད་བསྐོང་དུ་རྫོང་གཏེར་ཡང་སྤྲུལ་མིང་པས་སྨོན་པའོ།། །།

This prayer requested by His Holiness Khenchen Lama Shri Amaho was composed by Dzongter Yongtrul Mingpa, with the intent of fulfilling the noble aspirations on the day of the Full Moon in the auspicious lunar month of Ripening Fruits at Rabnas Shingdruk (the Sacred Grove of Auspicious Abodes).
